We are looking for an experienced Java backend developer to join our development team, to participate in the future planned enhancements of our core CogTL engine.
Skill Set
At least 5 years of experience in backend Java development
Deep knowledge of data structures, their implementations in Java, and algorithms complexity analysis
Motivated not only in solving problems, but also solving them in an optimal manner in terms of performances.
Knowledge of MongoDB as a database
Docker and Kubernetes experience
Practical experience of systems integration – e.g. network protocols, authentication problematics on Windows and/or UNIX systems
Full stack development (REST / Angular) experience a plus
Start Up experience a plus
French and English languages
Tasks & Responsibilities
Design, develop and test new features in the CogTL engine or optimize existing functionalities with the objective to achieve the best possible performances
Implement new REST APIs in CogTL in relation with CogTL Admin or PeopleRisk web interfaces
Participate in product development strategy, be a force of proposition to meet Cognitechs objectives of performance and quality
As a third level support, providing expertise on the best way to perform certain tasks with our products, in close collaboration with our business analysts.
